“ We went last Sunday (12/1/24) for a casual dinner and drink before taking in some Christmas light displays throughout the neighborhoods. Not only did they feed us twice as much food as we expected when we ordered, but we had two servers taking care of us despite it being a slow night. The service and food could not be better, and the evening was really memorable thanks to this restaurant and its staff. Great job! ”
“ Took my daughter for brunch on Saturday. This was our first time since their new chef was brought aboard. My daughter’s food was out quick and timely and she loved every bite. I had the brunch smash burger which did not disappoint. Our server was great. She was attentive, detailed and organized. Old River is always a staple, but the food was elevated above and beyond. “ We stopped in after a kids' soccer tournament around 9:00 on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving- generally a pretty busy time- and they were extremely accommodating. The staff managed to sit our party of 24 together, were quick and accurate with our orders, and showed zero annoyance that we came in with a huge group right before the kitchen closed. The beer list was great (plenty of nice local seasonal options) and the food was above average for a pub, featuring pretty typical bar food- loaded tots, burgers, etc. All in all, we're more than satisfied with our decision to celebrate our girls' victory at Old River. ”

The food was great and the staff was always was making sure there was enough food, silverware, and utensils for the guests! We had an open bar and the bartender was awesome and efficient, making sure everyone had drinks. Would definitely recommend for a large party or event!! ”

“ We are regulars at River Tap and the service we receive from Ray is exceptional. He is so friendly, has an awesome attitude and the service is quick. He’s always one to ask if we want food, or tell us the new beers on tap, and just greeting us with a smile and a hey guys is plenty for us. If you want good service with a cool guy come up here on Tuesdays or on the weekends and hang with Ray. You won’t be disappointed. ”
